We say

Dave Moisan is a musician hailing from Louisville, Kentucky. We were hooked by this great track within the first five seconds, basically as soon as that insidious bassline and drums kick in, so we’re pretty sure you will be too. It’s the opener from his recent five-track EP Heavyweight which managed to make its way into the US iTunes Pop Chart Top 100. Self-released, it’s a neat collection of his current work but this is the real standout from it. The falsetto-esque chorus, the driving beat, the sprinkling of a little old-skool magic with an almost ’70s West Coast laid-back guitar line - they all combine perfectly to create this solid pure pop moment. It’s something you can imagine Adam Levine and the boys from Maroon 5 would score worldwide success with. Upbeat, positive and absolutely addictive, we reckon you’ll find yourself drawn back to the groove on this time and time again. To paraphrase the great Sam Cooke (or maybe even Primal Scream), you don’t need to fight it, you just need to feel it.
