Some Other Dude
We say
Everywhere made a lot of friends when they first emerged internationally three years ago at an NME Awards show, playing alongside Django Django and Palma Violets. They later went on to support Kaiser Chiefs and headline Notting Hill Arts Club, and it’s great to have them back for 2016 with this funky alternative indie corker that's akin to last year’s global smash Shut Up and Dance by Walk The Moon. It’s the second release from their forthcoming second EP, due in September and lyrically it urges the listener to seize every opportunity that life puts in front of you before it’s too late. The EP was recorded in Stockholm, LA and London with production talent that includes Mark Needham (noted for his work with The Killers and The 1975). Catch them live at The Dublin Castle in Camden next Friday (June 24) with Glasgow band Kelvin and The Finsbury in London on July 28 with Fragile Creatures. We love the ambition of the song and the fact that you sense lead singer Max Berga and the rest of the band are seeking world domination with this tune. It’s a perfect summery pop moment.
