We say

Over the last 18 months, Scottish singer-songwriter Kerri Watt has honed her sound to perfection with a knack for writing big radio anthems that grew with each release. Previous single Long Way Home was epic and rightfully found a place on Radio 2’s A List soon after our feature. This latest track really deserves the same attention. Richard McNamara from Embrace has produced it, and he has again imbued her sound with a sheen and polish that gives it a world-class quality. Massive crashing drums, urgent strings and a driving rhythm push it all along brilliantly, and the stunning video, shot in Iceland, adds to the drama of it all. Kerri’s had a busy few months with tour support slots for Ward Thomas, Starsailor, Nina Nesbitt, The Overtones all under her belt and with plenty more to come this spring before her own UK headline dates to follow, plus her debut album to complete. With the lyrical theme of falling in love, living for the moment and moving on after bad experiences in the past, it feels like we’re repeating ourselves by saying that this is her best yet. But we certainly think it is.
