Learn To Kiss
We say
Last June, we featured Leeds band Dancing Years with their beautiful track Places We’ve Roamed. It was hard to imagine they’d ever be able to top that for total heart-on-your-sleeve bare emotion. But they’ve only gone and done just that with this utterly gorgeous, quietly-restrained delight. It’s the title song to their forthcoming four-track EP that’s been recorded at Sheffield’s Yellow Arch Studios and produced by Colin Elliot, who’s noted for his work with Slow Club and Richard Hawley among others. In fact, the band toured with Hawley at the end of last year and have also supported names including George Ezra, To Kill A King and Boy & Bear. There’s been tons of support to date at radio with Huw Stephens at Radio 1 showing love alongside Steve Lamacq, Chris Hawkins and Mary-Anne Hobbs at 6 Music, Danielle Perry at Absolute, Alex Baker at Kerrang! Radio and the teams at Amazing Radio & The Selector. Their next live London show is at The Moth Club in Hackney on February 15. Learn To Kiss is deservedly on the BBC Introducing playlist at Radio 1 this week. It's simply exquisite.
