We say
The world of country music constantly delivers a rich seam of staggering talent these days, both in the UK and back in its spiritual home of the US. Nashville-based A Thousand Horses are shaking things up good and proper right now with a bluesy-rock edge to their sound that saw their track Smoke hit No.1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, the first band to hit the top with their debut single so far this decade. Now comes their assault on British soil with this song that has already found favour over at Planet Rock Radio, spending a fourth week on their A-list. Imagine Chris Robinson from Black Crowes jamming with the guys from Lynyrd Skynyrd over a few bourbons, and you’ll totally get where vocalist Michael Hobby this is coming from here. The band will head our way for a full UK tour sometime early in 2016 to promote their debut album Southernality. Here's hoping A Thousand Horses can inspire some young British kids to craft and perform a tune as solid as this. Red-hot and absolutely rocking.
