We say
Released worldwide this week, Noonie Bao strikes again with another absolute gem that you’ll instantly fall for. It’s less than three months since we last featured this Swedish singer and songwriter to the stars. Her track I’m In Love remains up there amongst the best pop songs we’ve featured this year, and the exceptionally high standard continues with this. Reminding us of some of the glossy productions that the great Trevor Horn crafted for Dollar back in the eighties, Noonie was inspired to write it after watching the fight scene in one of her favourite films The Fifth Element. The theme is one of hope in the face of adversity, then picking yourself up when you’re feeling down, and was written and produced by Noonie Bao, Lotus IV and Patrik Berger. Ever busy, she’s got co-writing credits on Carly Rae Jepsen’s new album EMOTION, which is out this week. We’ve lost count of the number of times that immaculately-made Swedish pop songs have blown us away so far this year. Add this on to that ever-growing playlist.
