We say

It’s always a delight to receive a track directly from a band or artist, especially when you shove it on and it’s an absolute cracker like this. RenattaJane formed last year and are a four-piece from south east London. Currently seeking management, a label and a publishing deal, their sound has been honed in the past 12 months and they’ve already played live slots at Cornbury Festival, an instore gig for Pretty Green and a show at the Camden Barfly, where they'll return once more on December 3. Musically, we hear influences like Franz Ferdinand and a host of tight, angular guitar favourites from the past few years. It powers along courtesy of a crisp, clean production sound which showcases the effectiveness of the track to worm its way into your brain. For an unreleased debut single, it’s a glorious rush of a tune. Fun, spunky, brilliantly executed; it’s got all the key elements to become a future indie festival anthem that sticks in your head from the first instant you hear it. But more importantly, it sounds big enough to be a mainstream crossover monster too. Just get ‘em signed.
