Stressed Out
We say
Twenty One Pilots comprises of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun and this great track from the Ohio duo is a taste of things to come from their highly-anticipated album Blurryface. Focusing on the nostalgia of childhood and the pressures of being an adult in the modern world, the verses of the song are delivered as a cool, laid-back rap building towards an anthemic singalong chorus that’ll genuinely stick with you all day. Their reputation as a ferociously exciting live act has grown hugely since we last saw them a couple of years ago in London, playing in support of their previous album Vessel. Now they return to the UK for four dates next week starting in Glasgow this coming Monday night (May 11) and rounding off in the capital next Thursday (May 14) at Electrowerkz in Islington. Every gig sold out in less than a minute. With a rabid fanbase that’s helped them notch up over 85 million Spotify plays and more than 80 million YouTube views worldwide, their time is now and this deserves to be the beginning of their mainstream breakthrough.
