We say

Radio Mary are a talented bunch comprising of mandolin and double bass players, trumpeters and a fiddler. They’re led by vocalist Kev Hands, a songwriter with a wealth of music biz experience who’s worked with Mark Bedford from Madness and David Cummings from Del Amitri amongst others. This lively song was produced by Gavin Monaghan (noted for his work with Editors, Robert Plant and Paolo Nutini) and the vibe that’s created here is a one of a real organic folk-tinged retro party, with nods to great Irish acts like The Saw Doctors and even The Divine Comedy, combined with the atmosphere you’d get at a Wonderstuff gig back in the day and Dexy’s in their Too-Rye-Ay era. The band are constantly touring and writing and have more shows lined up across the year. Janice Long at Radio 2 has supported Kev’s work in the past and it’s easy to hear why. This is feel-good music to accompany a Friday night out on the lash with your mates, pure and simple. You'd better get the drinks in.
