Come Home
We say
We last featured Antix back last August with his rather excellent track Breathless. Now he returns in a more reflective mood on a song he’s releasing in conjunction with MIND, one of the UK’s leading mental health charities. Showing a nice element of versatility from the rest of his recorded output to date, this hugely melodic and often uplifting song deals lyrically with the stigmas that inexplicably exist in mental health issues often amongst men. Great support for his music continues to come from hip hop enthusiast sites like SBTV, GRM Daily and K-Mag, alongside BBC Introducing and via his inclusion in 2014’s MTV UK Brand New shortlist. Still surprisingly self-managed, we’re reassuringly seeing a great artist really growing with each new release that comes our way. In a genre that’s often dominated by misplaced macho bravado, the sensitivity displayed with the subject matter here is refreshingly noteworthy.
