We say

London-based six piece Gallows Ghost formed just 18 months ago, are currently unsigned but are already building a steady loyal set of followers after a series of memorable live shows. Powered by the unique, almost operatic vocals of former Vivienne Westwood model Kate Young, whose father is film director Robert Young (know for his work across many British TV series and film including classic horror movies from the Hammer studios), the sound they make is particularly distinctive right now. This title track from their latest EP shows much promise of things to come from the group. It powerfully combines classical cello and violin with electro beats, raging electric guitar stabs and a pumping bassline, giving it a dark compelling tone throughout. There’s an acoustic gig tonight (February 5) in London at The Camden Lock Tavern, followed by a full live gig at Hoxton Bar & Grill on February 25 to launch the debut EP. It’s still early days for this lot but keep them on your radar as the potential to deliver something enormous is undoubtedly there.
