Living Without You
We say
It's over two years since Tulisa last released any new solo material but, after much controversy and tabloid-grabbing headlines during that break, she's back making the sort of confident, no-nonsense pop that we've come to expect from her. She scored a 2012 No.1 with the track Young and this return comes shortly after she guested at this year's judges' houses on The X Factor. On the show in the past, she mentored both Ella Henderson and Little Mix, two acts now reaping global success, of course, so there's a lot to live up to with her own music but she actually pulls it off here. It's an old-skool 1990's garage/house-influenced club banger, the sort of track that will always prove welcoming to her fanbase, especially as the lyrics draw on her past experiences, describing how they're going to make her a stronger person going forward. Her last three solo singles all went Top 20 in the UK - despite her prolonged absence, expect this to give her yet another.
