We say

There's not much to say about the legendary Nile Rodgers that hasn't already been said. His masterful guitar riffs with Chic in the 1970s will still fill a dancefloor more than three decades later and the spotlight was back on the great man last year when he helped power the rhythm along on the million-selling Get Lucky for Daft Punk. This is his first solo track in over 10 years and was recorded recently at the International Music Summit in Ibiza, then auctioned off to raise money for his charity, the We Are Family Foundation. Dance label Cr2 won the bidding and its release is now kicking off their tenth anniversary celebrations too. Currently picking up loads of plays on Radio 2's B-list, there's been support from names like Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Mistajam, DJ EZ, Steve Smart and others across Radio 1, Capital and Kiss. There's plenty of cool specialist remixes to support the project from MK, Eats Everything, Grades, Chocolate Puma, Rob Da Bank, Moon Boots and Silversix as well. Next up comes two huge festival appearances for Nile, firstly at V in a few weeks, then Bestival next month. Insidiously catchy, frothing with feel-good vibes and guaranteed to make you dance, it's everything you'd ever want from a musical genius who's made us party for pretty much our entire lives.
