Come On
We say
No pretentions here, just some tasty raw guitar riffs and heads-down driving rock from Preachers Son, a Dublin-based band led by Brian Hogan who, as the name suggests, literally is a real life son of a preacher man. The track was originally produced by three-time Grammy winner Marc Urselli and features on the forthcoming album 10 Stories Tall (completed in Los Angeles with Warren Huart, famed for his work with Aerosmith and The Fray). Support to date for the group has come from Planet Rock, Radio 2, Team Rock and Kerrang Radio. Classic Rock magazine are fans of the band too and it's easy to hear why. Solid, gritty and well-produced rock like this will always find a welcoming audience in the UK and beyond. See the band live this month around the country including a stop-off at London's O2 Academy2 in Islington next Thursday (July 17) and they're back on the road later in the year supporting live favourites The Quireboys in November. Despite every new passing fad over the past 60 years, rock remains the biggest-selling musical genre in the world. The no-nonsense mix of influences old and new which Preachers Son pulls from, all competently delivered too, makes this worthy of your attention.
