Summer wouldn't be summer without a global phenomena breaking through from nowhere and becoming one of the hits you hear in whatever country you holiday that year. This is the track that sounds to us like 2014's monster breakout. Anders Nilsen is a Norwegian who's causing a massive buzz with this brilliantly silly song. It's less than a week since it first came to our attention as potentially one to watch. Since then we've seen it rack up hundreds of thousands of YouTube views daily and now, over this past weekend, Sony have grabbed the track and are rush-releasing it almost immediately, pretty much globally. As the man behind it all says himself "To make the ultimate summer hit, you need a few specific ingredients; a dancey beat, an accordion, a saxophone and last but not least, Spanish lyrics. The only problem is...I don't speak a single word of it and neither do most people in Norway. So to make it easy...the lyrics are based on words everyone has heard before". We hear Scott Mills is just about to champion this at Radio 1 later today and the management team behind it also look after The Fox hitmakers Ylvis. All in all, this is pretty much unstoppable.
