We say

The band Family Of The Year are one of the hippest word-of-mouth success stories across the world so far in 2014. The quartet comprises of brothers Joseph and Sebastian Keefe (who were born in Massachusetts but raised in Wrexham in North Wales), singer and keyboardist Christina Schroeter and guitarist James Buckey. Their sound is beautifully simple acoustic-driven songs, all designed to lift your spirits in these uncertain times, and it's a philosophy that's seen their music rapidly connect on a huge scale. This song comes from their second album Loma Vista and is currently sitting in the Top 5 in the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as already having made the Top 10 in Switzerland, Austria and Germany (where it went platinum). In the US, their last tour was completely sold out and they've been embraced by both alternative and mainstream audiences alike thanks to appearances on Jimmy Kimmel, Jay Leno, Carson Daly and Conan O’Brien’s talk shows. Radio 2's Jo Whiley declared it her Favourite Thing on her show last week, Absolute Radio have B-listed the track and it's currently getting played at Xfm and 6 Music too. Catch the band at Glastonbury this Sunday on the William Green Stage and at Scotland's epic T In The Park in a couple of weeks. Uncomplicated, unpretentious and now unstoppable, this deserves to be one of the biggest summer anthems.
