We say

Think back to all those great funk-influenced acts that you've loved from the past. Remember how the songs they made used to lift you and instantly put a smile on your face, like some sort of musical elixir. Well, take all of those elements, flash-forward to now and you get Fudge & The Frequency. This song is the lead track from the group's EP Wake Up The Funk. Fusing together the greatest retro sounds and blending them for a 2014 audience has led to the band's recent live performances being raved about and producers from both The Voice and The X Factor approached front man Fudge Jarcheh to take part in the respective shows. We think he's been wise to resist their offers. Sell out gigs at London venues including Camden's Jazz Cafe, the Borderline and Islington Academy have all helped the word-of-mouth buzz on the band spread and you can see what all the fuss is about for yourself at the launch of the video and single at London's Drury Club on June 17.  Stevie Wonder has already declared himself a fan. Perhaps they could start prescribing a daily dose of this on the NHS from now on too. Get funky.
