Hailing from Finland but now based in the Swedish capital Stockholm, Suvi first came to the attention of industry tastemakers with her debut track Bleeding For Your Love, which notched up over 100,000 Soundcloud plays and was critically acclaimed by many leading music blogs. Now comes the follow-up: a beautifully dreamy slice of atmospheric pop, reminiscent of the now largely forgotten but rather wonderful 90s band Dubstar. Suvi's songwriting and production partners are Julius Duhs and Robin Svensk (aka Bangs) whose previous credits include Miike Snow and Nervo. We love the boldness and ambition of this track but it's all achieved with restraint and plenty of room to breathe too. Her debut London show is tonight (April 24) at JaJaJa at The Lexington and you can catch her again with two gigs on May 10 at Dome Studio Theatre and Unitarian Church in Brighton as part of this year's Great Escape festival.
