Fronted by Ingrid Helene Håvik on lead vocals, Norwegian quintet Highasakite make beautiful, life-affirming anthems with a unique folky twist to them. One of the buzz bands of SXSW, the group have just completed US dates with London Grammar and have been championed by Bon Iver. Their debut album titled Silent Treatment is just out worldwide and entered the Norwegian chart at No 1. This single currently accounts for almost 3% of all radio airplay in their native country, which is a bonkers statistic. They'll be hitting the UK for some live dates later this month, taking in London's Cargo on April 30 and then onto Liverpool Sound City and Live At Leeds. We adore the Celtic influences, huge textured sound and fabulous story telling that's showcased here. If you loved that wonderful debut album My Head Is An Animal from Of Monsters And Men, you'll appreciate how good this track is too.
