We Were On A Break

Hailing from the fine city of York, Summer City first saw this track break through on Radio 1 daytime last year after being showcased by a BBC Introducing feature on the band's hometown. Since then, there have been spot plays from Greg James, Fearne Cotton, Huw Stephens and Scott MIlls. Some big names in rock music have become fans along the way too, including Blink 182's Mark Hoppus who posted a brief YouTube video endorsing the lads. Then Jack Barakat from All Time Low jumped on board to tell fans of his band to 'buy it, download it, because we did'. An album is all ready to roll, with material recorded and complete. There's a chance to catch them live as early-evening support to Elliot Minor at London's Underworld in Camden on March 29. Instant, immediate and with plenty of momentum behind them already, this sounds like the start of something big.
