Impact date: Album Release: March 9
ROTD featured date: Tuesday 18 February 2014

We say

One of the leading exponents of the UK Grime scene over the past decade, Ghetts takes things to a whole new level here with this explicit, angry but visceral track. Edgy and uncompromising, but also with a great guitar hook, this is the kind of street sound that kids who watch music video stations like Channel AKA are responding to massively right now. Already the track has featured on BBC Radio 1Xtra with support from tastemakers like Zane Lowe, Mistajam, Target and Ras Kwame and there's a live date at London's Islington O2 Academy on March 14. Last month Ghetts led the way in innovation too, becoming the first UK rap artist to release a music app, Rebel with a Cause, designed to give his fans an exclusive 'rebel experience', including album exclusives, news and content. Like we say, this is the REAL sound of 2014 right here; cutting edge, politically savvy and taking no prisoners.
