The Breach
We say
After heavy rotation for this track from the influential radio station Triple J in his native Australia, the beautifully structured sound that 28-year-old Dustin Tebbutt creates is now about to be heard worldwide. And deservedly so, too. Think Sigur Ros blended with Jose Gonzales here. Crisp indie-folk which sounds melodic, isolated and yet intoxicating in equal measure. It was born from Dustin's time spent in Sweden, where he lived and worked for two years, experiencing long harsh winters and loneliness, a far cry from life in the southern hemisphere that he was used to. You'll feel an emotional connection to his work, trust us, and almost everything you hear on the track was played, mixed, written and produced by the man himself. London shows are imminent with a headline gig at Servant Jazz Quarters on Feb 25 and Communion Night at Notting Hill Arts Club on March 2. A unique talent with a great story to tell. We can't wait to hear so much more from him this year and beyond.
