We say

There's a 'school's out' vibe scrawled all over the fuzzy garage rock of The Orwells' first album Remember When, hardly surprising considering they have only just graduated from high school. We caught them at The Great Escape in May and can confirm the NME's report of their live show as 'total f--king chaos'. Two raucous EPs - Other Voices and Who Needs You - followed on National Anthem, leading up to this, their first single for Atlantic. Produced by Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Temper Trap) Dirty Sheets is joyously sleazy, a mess of melody like The Monkees after a night on the Jägerbombs. Zane Lowe selected it as a Hottest Record recently, while the band put in an explosive performance on Later With Jools Holland last week. The band hit the UK in February for their first headline dates, including an NME Awards show at the 100 Club, and have just been confirmed as support for the Arctic Monkeys' US tour.
