We say

For a time during the spring it became impossible to accurately measure the heat on Ruen Brothers because they appeared to have smashed through the thermometer. After early support from BBC Introducing, blues-rock belter Aces found its way onto Radios 1 and 2, 6Music, XFM and Amazing Radio, while brothers Henry and Rupert Stansall found themselves being courted by every manager, lawyer and label in the UK and beyond. With a team taking shape, they played SXSW, Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and Bestival over the summer, attracting press from the NME, The Fly, Q, the Guardian and more. Hard to believe then that Blood Runs Wild, another headswim of Orbison, Presley, Hollies and Everlys, is their first official release for Republic/Island Records. Premiered by Zane Lowe as a Hottest Record last month, it has unsurprisingly been swept up by all of its early radio supporters - 67 plays to date - with sessions booked well into December. The band are the main support for Tom Odell on his UK tour, including Shepherd's Bush Empire on Wednesday. If you've been lucky enough to catch their electrifying live show, you'll know there's stacks more where Blood Runs Wild came from.
