We say

You already know the chorus - and the voice - of In My Mind from Swedish House Mafia's smash of the same name, for which its originator Georgi Kay received a Grammy nomination as well as ARIA and APRA awards in her native Australia. Now relocated to the UK, where she has signed a multi-album deal with Parlophone, Kay reclaims her dusky ballad, stripped back and laid bare as the lead track for this, her debut EP. Three of the four deliciously dark songs here feature in forthcoming BBC Two series Top Of The Lake, as does Kay herself, cast by director Jane Campion in the role of troubled singer Melissa. Campion personally selected Kay's music for the programme, and even commissioned the mesmerising new recording of Björk's Jóga, also on the In My Mind EP. That Kay's talents already stretch well beyond her natural gift for songwriting suggests that her's is a name to watch out for.
