Rising LA duo Jutty Ranx have done it all on their own. I See You, a blend of summery electro-pop and soul-infused vocals, was written, produced, mixed and mastered by Justin Taylor and Jaakko Manninen, who even directed the video, which to date has attracted an impressive 6.5m YouTube views. The track is already a huge hit in Europe, having passed the 100k sales mark and reached no. 1 on iTunes in Italy, where it enjoyed a six-week reign at the top of the airplay chart. A strong remix package is now working well at club in the UK, with spot plays at Kiss and a playlist addition at MTV Dance showing early signs that it might repeat its European success in the UK. A raft of live dates are scheduled for August, after which the duo return to Los Angeles to complete their forthcoming debut album.
