The bio for 'mirror twins' Christie and Louise Miller, aka Millers Daughter, is packed with details such as their upbringing near Stonehenge, where they served ice cream to Whitney Houston and Jennifer Aniston, and their jingle-singing mother who appeared in a Canada Dry advert in the 70's. Thankfully these are the least interesting aspects of their story, vastly overshadowed by the fact that Millers Daughter make instant, radio-ready adult contemporary pop in the vein of The Bangles, Wilson Phillips and Lady Antebellum. Since You Left is strong on West Coast harmony with a one-listen country-pop chorus that's all melody. Graham Norton has been an early supporter at Radio 2, and the band are booked for a This Morning appearance week of release. So no, Millers Daughter aren't cool, but as Paul Lester recently pointed out in a New Band of the Day piece for the Guardian, this may very well work in their favour.
