We say
Dutch-American singer-songwriter Laura Jansen releases her second album Elba - her debut release in the UK - on June 17. Recorded in her adopted LA hometown with Aqualung's Matt Hales (fresh from co-writing and producing Lianne La Havas' Is Your Love Big Enough?), Elba marries melodic, ethereal piano-pop and beat-driven production with Jansen's striking vocal, arriving at a sound somewhere between Kate Bush and Regina Spektor. Charming first single Golden - featured here - goes to radio this week, while the album also features guest performances from Ed Harcourt and Keane's Tom Chaplin. Already top five in Holland, where Jansen's debut album Bells achieved platinum sales, Elba will pick up plaudits wherever quality AC pop is appreciated. Publishing still open for North America.Contact
