Lay Me Down shows off Sam Smith's phenomenal vocal in this heartfelt debut. The success of Latch - Disclosure's single which featured Sam - gave a great platform to launch his solo career from. That release peaked at No.11 in the UK charts, simultaneously finding him his perfect producers in Disclosure, who worked their magic on this release. Preceded by an acoustic video a fortnight ago, the full version was premiered on Annie Mac's Radio 1 show earlier in the week picking up a fantastic reaction.
