Ex-My Luminaries frontman James Ewers AKA Lonesound continues his fantastic solo venture with the pulsating, riff-lead Don't Hold Me Back. Ewers released his first solo EP The Great Outdoors (Part 1) in July, picking up attention from various press outlets including Sunday Times Culture (“this is ace”), The Fly (“James Ewers makes windswept bellow-it-from-the-hilltop indie”), The Music Mag (“it’s a great debut and we can’t wait to hear more”), Shiny Shiny New (“we’re really quite impressed”) and more. The home recorded 4-track EP is being followed up with The Great Outdoors (Part 2) which will eventually combine to structure his first full length album release next spring through Pledge Music. Ewers has so far had 90 pledges making up 133% of his goal money. Video.
