We say
Bo Keeney has managed to balance contemporary influences and sounds with blues and soul, working outstandingly on this infectious debut. The LA born artist moved to the UK at 16, winning the British Academy of Songwriters and Composers competition and mastering every instrument he could lay his hands on. The depth of his ability is heard all over this incredible track, with Bo writing, playing and producing the record entirely by himself on an industrial estate in glamorous Winchester. Early support has come from Skream & Benga on Radio 1, Mistajam on 1Xtra and last week The Guardian's Paul Lester tipped him as one to watch for 2013 in his New Band of The Day column.
