Rarely do X Factor finalists come out of the show and produce such outstanding work. 2010 finalist Aiden Grimshaw should take great credit for his superb writing skills, which are paired with outstanding production from Jaz Rogers (Lana del Rey/Tinchy Stryder) throughout forthcoming debut album Misty Eye (August 20) and displayed emphatically on soulful hit Curtain Call. Debut single Is This Love made Radio 1 B-list, a feat already matched with Curtain Call with enthusiastic support from the likes of Q, NME and ILRs. Both singles made HypeM's No.1 on the Twitter Chart with Curtain Call getting 500k YouTube hits week one. When Is This Love premiered on Nylon US, it gained so much traffic it crashed their website. His writing talents have led to a recent deal with BMG Chrysalis which is surely only the start. Aiden is a star in the making, and a credible one at that. Video.
