Feel good anthem of youth and fan's favourite, Glockenspiel Song displays Dog Is Dead at their outstanding best. The Nottingham five-piece first shot to prominence when they were hand selected to perform this very track on screen for the closing episode of Skins season 5 last year. The reaction at radio has been impressive, including support at Xfm, Wednesday's announcement of INMWT playlisting on Radio 1, plus a 'Record of the Week' from Huw Stephens, with further daytime plays courtesy of Fearne Cotton and Nick Grimshaw. Their outstanding live performances have been put to good use this year, playing 52 shows and picking up 27 festival bookings including a 30 date regional headline show, a sold out London Borderline headline, a home-coming show at Nottingham’s Rock City (cap. 2000) and support slots with Bombay Bicycle Club, Tribes and King Charles. Dog Is Dead have built strong foundations, and with a summer of festivals before debut album - All Our Favourite Stories - drops in the autumn, things are shaping up very well. Video.
