At just 20-years of age, Mac Miller has released five mixtapes, picked up over 280 million Youtube hits, and is the first independently distributed artist to hit No.1 in the US album charts for 15 years with his debut album Blue Slide Park (set for UK release on Island May 21).  Not a bad start then, and picking up impressive steam in the UK too with strong support from The Guardian, Independent, MTV Wrap Up and an SBTV interview. Mac's May live dates are set to be sold out well ahead of the album impact date, having already played to a sold out Shepherd's Bush Empire last September. The hugely catchy Frick Park Market - still seven weeks ahead of release - is on the Flava TV playlist and Breaking Beats on Kiss TV, with it also hitting the 1Xtra playlist this week and picking up spot plays on 6Music and Xfm. Video.
