For the many about to discover Poliça over the next couple of months, there is no better introduction to a band than the hypnotic Lay Your Cards Out, featuring a huge laid back groove and super cool autotuned vocals. It's the first single to be take from forthcoming debut album Give You The Ghost and is picking up fans at radio, currently sitting on the 6Music B-list, with further support coming at Radio 1 from Fearne Cotton, Zane Lowe and Huw Stephens. The Minneapolis band have gained some pretty huge fans already, including Jay-Z who has blogged about them, and Bon Iver, who declared to Rolling Stone "They're the best band I've ever heard", straight after winning big at the 2012 Grammys. The band are at SXSW this week, having just completed their first tour of the US which sold-out entirely. Video.
