Reptar get off to a storming start with this angsty dose of off-kilter pop, bringing with it bags of adventure, hooks aplenty and an outstanding production certain to get any new music fanatics salivating. The US quartet were hailed by many as one of - and in some cases the - standout band of last year's SXSW, and have built a reputation over the last year for riotous performances throughout the States. Both the forthcoming EP Oblangle Fizz Y'all and single are produced by the adept hands of Ben H Allen, best know for his works with Animal Collective, Gnarls Barkley, Bombay Bicycle Club and MIA (not a bad CV then). We can't wait to hear more, but in the meantime we'll be first in line for the super limited 7" run available on Record Store Day (April 21).
