When Lilygreen & Maguire's performance of Matt Nathanson's Come On Get Higher popped up on The Mahogany Sessions we were struck by the duo's delivery, quickly realising they have huge commercial appeal. Come On Get Higher is now set to become their debut single. The Newport duo might be label mates with some of the most successfully manufactured pop acts of today (incl. The Overtones), but they have honed their talents, writing and playing together independently over the last two years. We've heard sneak peeks of some exciting original tracks they've written with the likes of Gregg Alexander (The New Radicals), Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue, James Blunt) and Karen Poole (Will Young, Kylie Minogue). The duo soon embark on a huge tour with Olly Murs which will see Lilygreen & Maguire announced to the world. Video.
