I Got You is a turbo-charged concoction of soulful blues and follows debut On The Road which we made Record Of The Week back in October. 20-year-old Jodie Marie has picked up a wealth of positive press and is getting a good radio reaction, which saw On The Road playlisted on Radio 2, Q Radio and A listed on BBC Wales. This single sounds like it could do even better; already on the BBC London playlist, and picking up spot plays on Graham Norton and Ken Bruce eight weeks ahead of release. The release is support by a Wogan session confirmed on his Radio 2 show for February 26. After featuring on the BBC Breakfast Show on January 13, Jodie went to No.3 on the Amazon pre-release chart. She's an artist with wide appeal and great songs and, given the right support from the zeitgeist, she can become a massive breakthrough for 2012.
