Once And For All

Artist: Clock Opera
Label: Moshi Moshi/Island
Impact date: February 6
ROTD featured date: Monday 23 January 2012

We say

Innovative and euphoric, Clock Opera's Once And For All cements them as one of the key British bands to watch out for this year. Their sonic experimentation deconstructing sounds and building samples back up to make stunning soundscapes is well complemented by the strength of the vocal, affording their tracks great crossover potential. That in turn has led to support on Radio 1 from Huw Stephens, Nick Grimshaw and an Edith Bowman Fresh Off Stage interview lined up for tonight's gig. It's also Xfm and 6Music playlisted. Their videos are as gripping as the music, with Once And For All featuring exceptional performances with Dudley Sutton as lead role (Fear Factory), and Guy Connelly (Clock Opera) with a cameo. Following the band's acclaimed appearance at Eurosonic, Clock Opera are a shoe-in to become one of this year's summer highlights. Expect their debut album in April.
