After negotiating her way out of a major record deal with Verve, Jessie Baylin is set to release her second album Little Spark. Her debut album - You - largely consisted of co-writes with Norah Jones, who also produced the album with Jesse Harris (Norah Jones, Melody Gardot, Madeleine Peyroux). Jessie used the inheritence from her grandmother to make this incredible follow-up with producer Kevin Augunas (Cold War Kids, Sinead O'Connor, Panic At The Disco). Hurry Hurry is the lead single from the album which is set to be self-released in the states on Blonde Rat, a moniker borrowed from her grandmother's nickname. It's picking up positive reviews from the likes of Filter (81%) and there is a wealth of press lined up for release week including Rolling Stone, USA Today, Nylon, Uncut et al. Early radio adopters include KCRW, WXPN and WCOO. MTV and VH1 have committed to support the Hurry Hurry video - coming soon - directed by school friend Scarlet Johansson. Hurry Hurry is a great lead, but the entire album is incredible, evoking memories of Karen Carpenter with Jessie's stunning voice. Album trailer.
