Produced by Diplo and Switch, Zane Lowe gave Alex Clare's debut his first spin last week and John Kennedy on XFM selected it as one of his Top 5 tracks this week. The bass-heavy remix from London producer SBTRKT is racking up the SoundCloud plays after pieces from The Fader Discobelle, Mad Decent and this nice introductory piece from ID online. A Dazed and Confused feature is set to run this month too. Another track, Relax My Beloved (listen here) has been released online - it further outlines his original sound, a meeting point between his bedroom DJ origins and some epic-sounding electronic rock. This should fuel interest until another tastemaker release due out in March. An interesting and natural slow-burner to keep an eye on in the new year. Video.
