Wakey!Wakey!'s album Almost Everything I Wish I'd Said The Last Time I Saw You charted on the overall charts of iTunes UK and peaked in the Top 15 earlier this year, with no UK label or promotion. We first featured the New York based project of Michael Grubbs back in June to a great reaction for the track Light Outside. They played their first ever UK show this week at The Garage, which sold out in under three hours after the band announced it on Twitter. More UK shows await in January and a major tour support is taking hold for February. Seven of the eleven songs on the album has been synched on television or in commercials in the US, including Apple ads for the iPad. Almost Everything is another track which sums up the commercial appeal of their jaunty piano-led pop.
