Evaline are a young Californian six piece who have supported bands as diverse as Deftones, 30 Seconds to Mars, Dir en Grey and Apocalyptica in the US. They've played two Warp tours too - all the time building a fanbase and developing their brand of skillfully layered and accessible rock. They have recorded an album's worth of material with Dan Austin (Doves, QOTSA, Biffy Clyro, Cherry Ghost) in the UK. This is the first track released from those sessions, and from it we can hear why recent shows in LA and New York have been busy with label attendees - they write epic, melodic rock which (with an edit) will sound great on the radio. The Patterned EP with three tracks, including this one, is available through AWAL on iTunes ahead of a proper release next month. The band recently supported Placebo at Brixton Academy and Young Guns on other UK dates. They are currently available for records and publishing.
