We say
When Love Is Dying is a highlight track for us from The Union, the collaborative album from Elton John and Leon Russell. Produced by T Bone Burnett, the album reveals an understated and complementary pairing and offers a long-deserved reintroduction to and reappraisal of Russell, as well some great songwriting from Elton John & Bernie Taupin. A host of activity supports the release, including their appearance at the Radio 2 Electric Proms next week. The lead track, If It Wasn’t For Bad, is on the A-list at Radio 2, which also has The Union as Album of the Week. There's a subtle choral arrangement from Brian Wilson on this gorgeous track - we think it's the best ballad from Elton John in a very long time.Contact
