19 year-old Leddra Chapman's debut single Story enjoyed seven weeks on the BBC Radio 2 playlist (five of them on the B-List) plus a performance of the track on ITV's This Morning. She has recently finished touring the UK as main support to new Decca signing Hamel. Leddra has also enjoyed widespread regional radio support for her releases so far and digital sales are starting to grow in the US, Australia and France (where she recently had front page iTunes exposure). It's down in part to word of mouth and but and also her brand partnership with surfwear company Quiksilver, which has increased her profile internationally. Her debut album Telling Tales is packed with radio-friendly melodies and a voice every bit as assured as the easy-listening and folk-pop comparisons that have been made in the early waves of positive press.
