We first heard Kid Adrift on Huw Stephens' Radio 1 show, not long after Vic Galloway first played him, but it wasn’t until we featured him in June that an explosion of interest happened. Labels, publishers, managers and lawyers all got in touch that day, and the interest has sustained since then. The feedback and contacts that our featured artists get after appearing in the coveted spot is still one of the most gratifying elements of our day. Iain Campbell aka Kid Adrift got in touch: “I think in one day I’ve had more phone calls and e-mails than in my entire career!”. The radio support has since spread via BBC Introducing to Jo Whiley, Fearne Cotton and Nick Grimshaw and he's recently been in session on Vic Galloway's R1 Scotland show. Recent developments include appointing Big Life Management, an EP release on Euphonios, a remix for Wolf Gang (listen on their MySpace) and a spot at SXSW 2010 has been confirmed.
