Taking her place among many of the various lists of tips for 2010, Marina And The Diamonds is an artist we've long supported. Since we last featured her, Marina was announced as a runner-up for the Brit Awards Critic's Choice Award and unveiled on BBC's Sound of 2010 longlist, as well as MTV's 10 for 2010 list. From our first feature late last year to the drip of coverage and EP releases over the year, the measured lead-in appears to be paying dividends now as the campaign takes shape. Next single Hollywood is a corker of a pop song - XFM and BBC Radio 1 have playlisted it. It's Nick Grimshaw’s Record of the Week this week. Album 'The Family Jewels', produced by Liam Howe (Sneaker Pimps), Biff Stannard (Kylie, Little Boots) and Pascal Gabriel (Ladyhawke), comes out in February.JF
