http://www.myspace.com/larkspurfalls Assuming the name of an imaginary location as her moniker, 22 year-old Larkspur Falls is attracting plenty of industry attention. She has played showcases in the last fortnight for a variety of labels and publishers, with interest heating up from US A&R too. She is signed to David Kosten's (Bat For Lashes, Faultline) development company Tiny Consumer. The tracks we've heard so far (which Kosten has produced), vary from excellent warm, melodic numbers with strong radio potential like this to quieter, darker numbers. It's accomplished-sounding fare from an interesting and diverse young artist who warrants the attention paid to her so far. Larkspur Falls is available for records and publishing.
