Lend Me Your Face

We first featured Fight Like Apes back in May last year with the wonderful and bizarre Jake Summers (listen here), which was soon after picked up by Fierce Panda offshoot Cool For Cats for a limited release. Lend Me Your Face was a track we pointed out back then as another pure pop side of their sound. This is a new mix of the track ripping through at under two minutes - as frenetic and funny a song we've heard this year. They've just recorded their debut album with producer John Goodmanson (Los Campesinos) which is scheduled for release in September on new Irish indie Model Citizen. They play London Calling next week and have support slots lined up with We Are Scientists as well as two gigs at Glastonbury and appearances at T In The Park and Oxegen.
