Band Of Horses have followed up on last year's acclaimed debut Everything All The Time with a brilliant second album Cease To Begin. Produced by Phil Ek (The Shins, Mudhoney), the album is gathering many glowing reviews - The Guardian called it "a beautiful record full of big-hearted sentiments and twisted lyrics".They have just done sessions for R1 and 6 Music and made a recent appearance on Later with Jools Holland. Bruce Springsteen told Spin magazine that they are his favourite band of the moment, and they made that magazine's top 40 albums of 2007. They've recently played a couple of sold out shows in Bush Hall, and a full UK tour is lined up for February. Ben Bridwell's vocal delivery, and the straightforward melodies , not just on this track but across the album as a whole, make it a very pleasurable listen. JFContact
